Directions to Soar Hawaii Sailplanes From Waikiki to Dillingham Airfield. It takes about one hour to drive from Waikiki to Dillingham Airfield.From Waikiki get on H-1 and go west. Keep going west until you come to H-2. Get on H-2 and head north. Drive to the end of H-2 through the town of Schofield. After passing through Schofield the road turns into "Y". Stay left on the Y to the town of Waialua. In the small town of Waialua, take a left at the stop sign and drive under the "Overpass" bridge on Hwy 930 (Farrington Hwy) to Mokuleia. The signs are poor in Waialua. From the "overpass" bridge, it is 5 miles to Dillingham Airfield. There are three entrances to the airfield. Take a left at the second entrance (gate #2). When you pull into the parking lot area, you will see a building towards the mountains side of the parking lot. We are located on the left side of the building under the sign "SAILPLANE RIDES". Walk to the left side of the building and ask for Soar Hawaii. Our receptionist will be happy to help you.
