We presently have four gliders (listed below) available for students and licensed glider pilots to rent. Before renting one of our gliders a check out is given. If you are current as a glider pilot you will normally receive two tows for your check out. The 1st tow is to 2000 feet with a review of maneuvers and the 2nd tow to 500 feet to practice a rope break. The check-out also includes about 15 minutes of ground school. All pilots wanting to fly the SGS-232 will receive spin training before acting as PIC. Pilots who are not current will receive training until their instructor deems them safe to act as PIC. If you are not current and are out of a biannual review we will combine the biannual and the check out together to save you money. The minimum for a biannual is one hour of ground school and three landings. GLIDERS AVAILABLE TO RENT
We do not take credit card numbers or monetary deposits to make a reservation for glider rentals, check outs or flight / ground training. We only take your name and schedule the time you have requested. You can reserve a glider to rent by going to: Reservations - Sailplane Rental. For flight training, go to: Reservations - Flight & Ground Instruction we will e-mail you back a confirmation within 24 hours of your glider rental request.
